The SWEETA web site is an outreach and dissemination arm of the LUW Team designed to inform stakeholders and to transfer technology information to end users. The Livestock and Urban Waste Research (LUW) Team has conducted numerous research studies, demonstration projects and outreach activities since its development in the early 1990's.
The LUW Team is currently composed of 12 investigators providing unique expertise, who represent diverse but complimentary disciplines.
We find alternative methods for handling livestock manure that are economically practical and environmentally wholesome.
