The Midwest Extension Composting School 2013 features an intensive three-day program that will train participants in the science of composting, handling feedstocks, enhancing compost quality, sampling and analytical processes, environmental regulations, application rates, source separated food waste and understanding compost markets. The school focuses on a combination of hands-on training, lecture and discussion, facility operators, and problem solving.
